Shifting of the terminal 12 B North to free the construction area.

  • September 2005

40 year concession agreement signed with the Port Authority of Civitavecchia, Gaeta and Fiumicino for the areas and quays 10,11,12S, 12N and 13S.

Placing of new passenger handling structures.

RCT handles more than 1.5 million passengers.

 

In July, the Port Authority approves the construction project and RCT launches the tender process.

In October, CLIA selects Civitavecchia as the “Italian Cruise Port of the Year”

  • 2008

More than 900 ship calls registered in one year.

RCT handles more than 1 million transit passengers.

  • 2009

Record year with more than 1,000 vessel calls and 2.57 million passengers.

 

  • 2016

In October, RCT awards the construction contract for the new terminal to the consortium itinera S.p.A./Argitto Zambonini S.p.A.

In October, CLIA Italy selects RCT as the “Best Port Provider” for 2016.

In November, the construction project of the new terminal is inaugurated by the Minister for Transport and Infrastructure, the Hon. Graziano Delrio.

  • 2014

In September, RCT concludes an agreement with the Studio Vicini for the design and construction of the new cruise passenger terminal at Terminal 12 B North.

In November, RCT and the Port Authority of Civitavecchia, sign the Deed of Delivery of the Antemurale Cristoforo Colombo.

  • 2018

In May, Roma Cruise Terminal inaugurates its new cruise terminal: Terminal Amerigo Vespucci.
